Lauren Webster

I was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama but my family moved to the suburbs of Washington DC when I was 12. My parents would take me to New York City on the weekends to see Broadway shows and it was there that I developed my life long love of theatre and the performing arts.

After graduating from Carson-Newman University with majors in Theatre and Broadcasting I spent several years traveling all over the country and eventually Europe with the Missoula Children’s Theatre. After settling back in Montgomery, I met and married my wonderful husband Rob and I began teaching children in some capacity and I have never stopped. For nearly 20 years now I have run theatre camps for kids, directed a kids TV show that ran locally for 8 seasons, taught pre-school art and enrichment and most recently worked here at Custer Road UMC in the children’s ministry department.

Rob and I have been married for 12 years and we have three children, Bennett (9), Will (8) and Lainey (5.) After living in Alabama and Kansas City, we are loving living here in North Texas and answering the call God has placed on our lives.
