
Hi! My name is Lisa Schafer and I am a mom of 5 children, 4 boys and 1 girl. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband Dan, their father, for 21 years. I grew up in Michigan and am a Michigan State Spartan, go Green!! I earned my Master’s degree from UNT in elementary education, reading, and technology and my Principal/Management certification from UTA. I taught various grades in elementary school in surrounding districts for 15+ years, have taught preschool and middle school as well, but not for as long as elementary school. I have either been a parent or teacher at CRCDS for I think it is over 17 years now…I have lost count. I hope to add many years to that count.

What do most people not know about you? I have a degree in political science.
Who has inspired you the most in your life and why? My Grandmother. She was a very wise woman. The more I remember the things she told me growing up, now as an adult, I realize more and more just how amazing a woman she was.

Dream Vacation: Either a trip to Alaska or Hawaii
First Car: A beat up $500 Audi Fox that I had to push start and pop the clutch with a passenger side door that didn’t open.
