I was born and raised in Wisconsin, and moved to Texas right after graduating from college. I have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, and worked as a cost accountant before my children were born. When my boys were small, I began teaching the “Young – Three’s” class at Arapaho UMC Day School, and fell in love with teaching! Over the next 10 years, I subbed in numerous PISD classrooms and realized I wanted to make a permanent career move. In 2008, I completed the Texas Alternative Certification program through Region 10 and became certified in General Education EC-8, and Special Education K-12. After obtaining my certification, I taught Kindergarten at St. Anthony’s Catholic Day School (Little Saints and Scholars) in Wylie, TX. In 2013, I returned to Wisconsin, where I taught 4K in the Kenosha Unified School District. This June, I bought a home in Frisco and moved back to Texas. I look forward to new adventures with Custer Road Christian Day School.
