Hi! My name is Whitney Cox. I’m a Texas girl, specifically a Garland, TX native. I am currently earning my Bachelor’s degree at Brookhaven College in Early Childhood Education and aspire to soon work towards my Master’s in Educational Leadership. Over the past 8 years I have been blessed with the opportunity to teach young children attending early childhood development centers, ranging in ages from toddlers to pre-k. Also, while some time was taken off to spend with my sons, I established an event coordinating company and began tutoring some of my former students and their siblings. Additionally, substituting at my son’s preschool became my new normal and I enjoyed every minute of it! Now, I’m beyond excited to be working alongside your children and this awesome group of people at Custer Road Christian Day School!

Hobbies, Interests: Going on “adventures” with my family, traveling, fitness & hip-hop dance, cycling, trying new foods
Who has inspired you the most in your life and why? My children and my husband. They have brought so much inspiration to my life because I want to always be a positive influence for them and encourage them to believe that with God, motivation and effort – all things are possible! My husband supports all of our dreams and endeavors which further inspires me to just keep going.
Dream Vacation: Any beautiful beach in Bali!
